Bleed of Fear – a third-person survival horror game being developed by Brazilian Gustavo Rios using Unreal Engine 5. The action takes place in a creepy amusement park, where every ride hides traps, and the author describes the atmosphere as a tribute to Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and the old Illbleed from the Dreamcast. Mary and the Sixth Sense The main character, a girl named Mary, senses danger in advance. This sixth sense tells her that a trap is hidden nearby, but she must figure out where exactly and how to disarm it herself. To help her find it, she uses a "horror chamber" that reveals hidden threats, and her hearing and attentiveness provide the rest. The rides depict various locations, including dungeons, and the traps and attractions themselves are randomly selected, so no two playthroughs will be the same. Pulse, blood and mind Health isn't just a single bar here. The game monitors your heart rate, the severity of your wounds, your blood volume, and the severity of your bleeding. You can die from a heart attack due to fear, from blood loss, or from going insane. To prevent this, collect items along the way to craft medicine and tools. In the park's main hall, you can safely chat with the local monsters: no one will attack, but through your conversations, the history of this place gradually unfolds. Fear with black humor Despite the blood and violence, which the author warns about upfront, the game has plenty of dark humor and satire, and is downright funny in places. The project is still in development, and there's no exact Steam release date yet. The system requirements for this indie horror are high: 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 970, and 20 GB of disk space.
