Bitter Harvest — is a story-driven farming sim about a man who was promised a new life, only to find himself stuck with a job as a garbage man. The land is already occupied, there's no money, the locals look down on him, and his entire "dream start" ends with him digging through other people's trash. He's forced to literally build his future from what others have discarded as useless. A strange village At first, you haul trash, take on any odd jobs, and try to squeeze at least some use out of the junk you find. Then you start planting your first garden beds, tools, cooking, fishing, and finally trying to get back up from the bottom. But the game quickly makes it clear: it's not just about the farm. Every villager has their own dirty secrets, and sooner or later the question arises: should they be exploited for profit or should they leave things as they are? The most interesting thing is how the village's attitude toward the player changes. You can work calmly, gradually earning their trust, or you can start to oppress people with their own weaknesses, interfere in other people's affairs, and build your future on manipulation.
