Developed by Arc System Works and its studio, TOYBOX, the game was published by NIS America. Here, you don't build cities, but rather mold an entire world out of blocks and see what lives there. The World Cubed Each world is a cube whose terrain can be shaped as desired. Raise the land to create mountains; lower it to create deep seas with islands. Elevation is directly related to temperature: the peaks are cold, the water is warmer, and this determines what life forms will emerge in a given location. Forests and oceans, wastelands and snow-capped peaks are all created with the same simple steps, and there are virtually no limits to experimentation. From cell to dinosaur Living creatures aren't placed manually here. You create the conditions, and life emerges automatically: first single-celled organisms, then multicellular organisms, plants, and later dinosaurs and mammals. You can't directly control evolution, but you can nudge it by changing the climate and landscape, and watch how the ecosystem adapts to your decisions. The resulting species are added to your collection. No two worlds are ever exactly alike, so starting over is exciting. Who is the game for? This is a calm and leisurely simulator, without enemies or rushing, more suited to those who enjoy experimenting and observing. The premise is simple: the hero accidentally finds himself in a cave, where he discovers a way to control entire worlds.
