Fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe can already look forward to the first quarter of 2016, when the strategy game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada will be released. Although based on the tabletop game of the same name, battles will take place in real time. The project is being developed by Tindalos Interactive, and Focus Home Interactive is publishing. Players can command the star fleets of the Empire, Orks, Chaos, or Eldar. Ships range from tiny (in cosmic terms) ships like fast frigates to enormous ones, such as battlecruisers several kilometers long. While you can admire your fleet for ages, it's better to admire your vanquished enemies... To win, you'll have to put in a lot of effort even before the battle, carefully configuring your ships. You'll need to consider defenses, weapons, peripherals, and other systems — do everything to ensure your ship remains as intact as possible during the battle. Perhaps it will become a true hero of the battle, earning a pleasant and useful reward. There's absolutely no doubt that the ships and spacecraft in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada will look beautiful — it uses the Unreal 4 engine, after all. Back in early May 2015, a video was released that serves as far more convincing proof than words. The plot is also gripping: it tells the story of the Chaos army's insidious plans to conquer a sector of the galaxy called the Gothic. The release will be exclusively on the Windows platform, because, after all, a computer and a real-time strategy game are a harmonious combination.
