About the game
BACK*SPACE is an atmospheric first-person horror game that relies not on jump scares and monsters, but on the feeling of loneliness within strange, empty spaces. Everything is built around a liminal aesthetic: endless corridors, old shopping malls, empty rooms, and places where it seems no one has lived for a long time. The game constantly creates the feeling of being somewhere between reality and a dream — it seems like an ordinary room, but the more you look around, the more you realize that something is wrong with this place. Silence, emptiness and a feeling of being lost You simply move forward, turn down another passage, enter a new room, and gradually realize you've lost track of where you are. Some areas look like abandoned offices, others resemble old swimming pools or hotels, and some rooms even look like they've been cobbled together from random memories. The game constantly plays with the sense of familiarity, making even a simple turn in the hallway feel unnerving. To open the final elevator, you'll have to search for lost items scattered throughout this world. Sometimes they're right in front of you, and sometimes they're hidden in places most players wouldn't even look. The random placement of items makes familiar rooms feel different on repeat playthroughs, and the game itself gradually becomes more than just a stroll through empty spaces, but an attempt to figure out if there's even a way out of this strange space. Features of the game 16 large spaces to explore. Horror without screamers, monsters and chases. Completely calm pace of passage. Demo version with several available zones.
