About the game

Baacadia is an atmospheric adventure puzzle game built around recording and playing sounds in a post-apocalyptic world that has long since lost its voice. The player controls a small recording robot, guiding strange creatures through deserts, ruins, and abandoned lands consumed by the mysterious Noise. Almost no one speaks here, and the journey itself is built not on combat or survival, but on the search for sounds that can awaken forgotten places and restore the remnants of a lost melody to the world. Sound becomes a way of interacting with the world Instead of traditional instruments, only the recording and playback of ambient sounds is used. The rustle of the wind, the distant hum of machinery, or strange signals from the depths of the world can be captured and then used elsewhere to open a hidden path, activate an ancient mechanism, or attract creatures following the protagonist. Companions recognize the player by sound, so the right signals help guide the herd through dangerous and abandoned territories. The world is explored freely and uses few conventional cues. There are no quest markers, timers, or penalties for mistakes — the game deliberately leaves room for leisurely travel and exploration at your own pace. Gradually, the sounds you discover form parts of an old melody, and the world itself slowly begins to come to life: long-forgotten places respond to sound again, hidden passages open, and signs appear in the sands that this land can still "sing." Features of the game Puzzles through recording and playing sounds. A journey with a herd of mysterious creatures. Free exploration without markers or timers. A hand-drawn world with a post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
