About the game
Asterfel is a third-person, open-world action RPG with a focus on free exploration, a combat system with varied styles, and choosing a side in a factional conflict. The player starts from scratch after a shipwreck and determines their own development path: using melee weapons, ranged combat, or magic, combining abilities and adapting their style to their own pace and preferences. A world without a leash Here, no one holds your hand or tells you where to go next. Locations are discovered through exploration, quests are found through interactions with characters, and decisions are made without explicit prompting. This creates a sense of independence, where the route is shaped not by instructions, but by curiosity about what lies around the next turn or beyond the boundaries of familiar territory. The island feels hostile and unstable. Nature is aggressive, magic is out of control, and the creatures you encounter along the way are unsettling. The further you travel from safe zones, the stiffer the resistance becomes, forcing you to rely not on leveling up, but on your own reflexes and combat skills. Features of the game Three factions with different views and goals. Crafting equipment from found resources. Gothic atmosphere and diverse biomes. Nonlinear passage with variability of solutions.
