About the game
Art of Destruction – a physics sandbox from developer ZHANG FAN, released in February 2022. Its main idea can be summed up in one sentence: build any world you can imagine, and then destroy it by any means necessary. What to break with The game offers a wealth of destructive tools. You can drop an asteroid on a building, crush it, set it on fire, or blow it up with bombs. If that's not enough, there are natural disasters: tornadoes, sandstorms, tsunamis, black holes, and nuclear explosions. There's even a zombie apocalypse that unleashes a horde of the undead onto the streets. Everything is based on physics: buildings collapse piece by piece, debris flies, and each time the scene is unique. What to build with You can destroy pre-built levels, open for free exploration, or build everything from scratch. The game features an editor where you build your own world and city, then test its strength. Importing voxel models is supported, so you can create almost anything from a familiar building to an entire neighborhood. Finished creations can be shared and downloaded via the Steam Workshop. Who is the game for? There's no plot or goals here; it's a pure sandbox in the spirit of a god simulator: build, observe, destroy, and try again. You can build a city on the coast and see what a tsunami does to it, or assemble a voxel replica of a familiar building and drop an asteroid on it.
