About the game
Archive 1985 is a first-person horror film presented as a restored recording from a personal camera. After a storm, Charlie finds himself washed up on an abandoned fishing island, and his friend Jack disappears without a trace. The story unfolds post-mortem, through an archive recovered by the police, turning the events into a reconstruction of a nightmare based on real events. An island captured on camera The investigation revolves around searching for Jack and attempting to escape the island, solving puzzles and exploring the environment. The camera creates a bodycam effect, conveying the instability of the situation: daytime locations appear deceptively safe, and the presence of an entity named Megan is felt even without direct contact. Notes and environmental details become key to understanding the events. Survival requires managing fear and resources. Flashlight batteries are limited, stress builds, and mistakes and panic interfere with clear thinking. As you progress, reality begins to distort, forcing you to doubt what you've seen. The story gradually reveals what exactly happened on the island and why escaping is more than just a physical task. Features of the game Presentation of the story through the reconstructed camera footage. First-person horror with bodycam effect. Puzzles based on the environment and notes.
