Arcadia Cafe is a first-person, everyday horror game about a student working night shifts at a small roadside cafe. The player must take orders, serve customers, and endure endless nights among strange patrons, whose conversations make it increasingly difficult to see the situation as a typical part-time job. There are no constant chases or cheap jump scares — the tension is built around the routine itself and the feeling that something is gradually going wrong. Night shifts don't end peacefully Customers arrive one after another, and almost everyone exhibits some odd behavior. Some seem to know too much about the heroine, others start asking awkward questions, and some look like they shouldn't be there at all in the middle of the night. This makes even simply taking orders feel unnerving, especially when the cafe is nearly empty and the surroundings are too quiet. The atmosphere itself is rooted in the feeling of late night: dim lighting, the hum of old machinery, an empty highway outside the window, and a VHS tape playing, as if found on an old tape.
