About the game
One man in the field is no match, but in the virtual world, even one man can do a lot. This is what Peruvian Chevarría Capacoyla Josep wants to prove thanks to AQP The White CityBack in 2012, the developer used the Unreal 3 engine to create a city the size of the infamous San Andreas as his graduation project. He enjoyed working solo on such a massive scale so much that he decided to create a GTA-like game, one that would rival the beauty of the franchise's most recent installments, including the upcoming sixth. To achieve this, Chevarria switched to Unreal 4. He's thrilled; he loves how the engine allows him to effortlessly create a picturesque open world with cities, forests, mountains, and fields... Truly picturesque, as evidenced by the 2015 trailers. Many are wondering: how much longer will it take? When will it be possible to download the torrent? AQP The White City? It's unlikely to happen anytime soon, as the developer launched two IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaigns, asking for $3,000 and $30,000 respectively, and both times received meager amounts. This is even strange, given the project's mainstream appeal and the attention it's received from media outlets like Indie DB and PC Gamer. However, Chevarria isn't giving up and promises to continue pursuing his dream. It's worth noting that he doesn't want to simply copy GTA; he wants to create a game that combines Needforspeed-style racing with Assassin's Creed-style wall-climbing and rooftop climbing. A trailer showcasing the mechanics is expected to be released soon. The developer also promises an intriguing script based on films like Face/Off, Compensation, The Rock, The Punisher, and The Equalizer.
