In 2012, independent Australian studio Krams Design, founded by artist Dane Krams, released Anna's Quest. Initially, Vol. 1 was available on Steam Greenlight, but distribution ceased in 2013. However, it wasn't because the project was abandoned — quite the opposite. Dane Krams and his colleagues took another important step: they enlisted the help of German company Daedalic Entertainment, renowned for creating excellent 2D adventure games — just remember The Whispered World. Point & Click Genre: The game follows the point-and-click genre, requiring players to frequently press the left mouse button while maintaining full concentration to solve puzzles. These puzzles often involve non-contact manipulation of objects, aka telekinesis. Little Anna gained this ability after being kidnapped by a witch. The girl was searching for a cure for her grandfather, but the evil witch appeared out of nowhere. She imprisoned Anna for an experiment on mental control of various objects. But the woman didn't realize she was personally giving her victim a chance to escape... Main characters: One of the key characters is also a boy with a stuffed animal name, Ted. Perhaps that's why the witch turned him into a teddy bear. But his brave heart remains even in his new body, so Ted is happy to help Anna overcome her trials. That's the fairy tale that unfolds. Incidentally, Dane Krams was inspired by the works of the Brothers Grimm and Andersen. So, at times it's funny, at times dark, at times touching, and the ending is unexpected. Before it happens, Anna will encounter dragons, trolls, funny little devils, goats, and people of all kinds.
