Always in Mind – a story-driven 3D puzzle platformer from Inevitable Studios. The action takes place inside the mind of a twelve-year-old boy, and the levels are built on his family's memories. A precise Steam release date has not yet been announced. Inside Teddy's Mind The protagonist, Teddy Jacobs, is trapped in his own subconscious, which threatens to collapse. He must escape with the help of Proxy, a strange companion who calls himself a living archive of family history and has access to the memories of his relatives. Together, they traverse key moments in the lives of his father, mother, and grandfather. Each memory is transformed into a separate level with its own mechanics, secrets, and twists. As the story unfolds, questions arise that Teddy seeks answers to: what does he have in common with his grandfather, what is his father hiding, and what can he learn from the mother he never knew. Abilities from other people's memories The hero's powers are directly linked to the person whose past he's currently living. Slowing down time helps him cope with his father's anxiety. To correct the memory lapses of his grandfather, who suffers from dementia, Teddy creates memories out of thin air. And manipulating gravity allows him to see the world as his mother did. The camera is held behind the hero, and platforming sections are interspersed with puzzles. Who is making the game? The visuals are being developed by an art director known for Blue Prince, and the music was composed by musicians from SIDE Montreal. The game's tone is mixed: light and playful scenes sit alongside heavier themes like illness and loss. It's a coming-of-age story in which technology and imagination collide in a child's mind.
