Akuma's Bloodrain is a fast-paced, boomer-style first-person shooter inspired by classic action games like DOOM and Shadow Warrior. You play as the ninja Akiji, the last surviving warrior capable of defending a Japanese village from hordes of demonic creatures known as akuma and yokai. Enemies are closing in from all sides, there's virtually no time to recuperate, and the only way to survive is to act quickly, accurately, and ruthlessly. Wield a shotgun and deadly claws, obliterate enemies, and leave a trail of blood in your wake before the challenge runs out. Speed and cruelty The combat system is built around constant movement and an aggressive playstyle. A powerful shotgun allows you to devastate enemies from a distance, but reloading leaves you vulnerable to rapidly approaching enemies. Therefore, it's important to be aware of your surroundings, choose opportune moments to fire, and avoid being cornered by a horde of demons. You never run out of ammo, but hesitating can cost you your life, especially when multiple enemies appear in the arena at once. In close combat, sharp claws come in handy, allowing you to literally tear your opponents apart. Regular attacks aren't always effective and can put you in danger, so it's important to wait for the enemy to become vulnerable. A successful attack allows you to instantly finish off the target and earn extra points. Dashes and high-speed climbing help you quickly move around the arena, avoid danger, and attack before the demons have time to react.
