Above the Snow – a story-driven mountain resort management game from Above the Desk, publisher of Wandering Wizard, released on April 23, 2026. A group of friends takes over a shelter in the Alps and tries to survive a harsh winter, competitors, capricious guests, annoying journalists, and the approaching Great Avalanche. Shelter, hotel or base You decide what to call your establishment: a shelter, a base, a hotel, or a resort. You need to furnish and decorate the interior, and then expand beyond it. Guests need comfort, a good mood, and equipment, and each team member has their own strengths and weaknesses, so the work must be distributed wisely. There's always more work than hands, and time becomes the most important resource. Relationships within the team also change: some grow, others suddenly become famous, and sabotage and quarrels are inevitable. Trails and rescuers You plan mountain routes for your guests, taking their preparation into account, setting up camps, and navigating dangerous terrain. There are also separate route missions: rescue operations, transportation, and other tasks. For these, you have ground and air equipment modeled after genuine alpine equipment. Weather is no backdrop here: snowstorms and natural disasters ruin plans just as much as dissatisfied clients. Brutus and Francis The team includes a dog named Brutus, and you'll have to figure out his true identity. There's also Francis, who, according to the official story, is simply a very fast runner and has hidden a bag that's best left undiscovered. The story is designed to last over 20 hours, and for those who don't need the story, there's an Endless Winter mode. Download Above the Snow You can download it via torrent on your PC on this page.
