About the game
There's a publishing house called Majesco that's going through some tough times. They're not developing games, and even if they are, no one's buying them. The company currently employs just five people, who are struggling to create any kind of product, and their CEO, Jesse Sutton, is leaving the company. But they offer a lesson in resilience, as even in this dire situation, they're not abandoning their game project and continuing to work on it. What is this game? You've probably heard of it; it's called A Boy and His Blob. A Boy and His Blob is a sequel to the cult retro game that was released in 1989 and enjoyed considerable popularity. It has been reissued several times, and now this publisher has decided to release a sequel. In this game, you take on the role of a cheerful guy who sets off with his friend Blob on a long adventure through the unknown and magical land of Blobonia. The adventure will certainly be challenging and dangerous, but given Blob's ability to eat beans and transform into a variety of entities, our hero has a chance to complete the adventure and reach the end. The game offers a lengthy adventure, tons of puzzles, and many other enjoyable elements of the game's virtual universe. As for the team, the executive director position will not be vacant; David Rector will simply take it over. Jesse Sutton, as the company's founder and the team's spiritual supporter, will remain as a consultant and retain rights to use and distribute all of the company's products. Currently, about the project A Boy and His Blob Nothing is known, but it's definitely not standing still. The platforms, and some of the game's release platforms, haven't been announced yet, but rumor has it that the game could very well come to PC. Well, let's wish the developers good luck and continued patience.
