About the game
1492 - Colonization of the New World — is a turn-based strategy game about settling a new continent, where you don't just lay down cities, but build an entire colony system from scratch. It all starts with a landing and a few people, and then you're left with empty lands that need to be transformed into something functional. Without smart decisions, the colony will quickly become bogged down by resource shortages and problems. First survive, then grow The first steps are the hardest: you need to figure out where to establish a settlement, what to feed the people with, and how to organize mining. Any mistake is immediately felt — not enough food, buildings stand idle, growth slows. Gradually, a structure emerges: some colonies mine, others process, others trade, and everything begins to function as a unified whole. Relationships with others play no less a role. You can negotiate and reap benefits, or you can use force and take everything directly. At the same time, you have to keep an eye on other powers, who are also unwilling to give in. Ultimately, the game turns into a struggle for influence, where it's not just resources that matter, but how you exploit the opportunities around you. Features of the game Selection of one of the European powers. Several options for achieving victory. Different approaches to interacting with others. Random events that change the course of the game.
